AAA Arizona Receives AMCP Honors for Third Consecutive Year

Phoenix, AZ, June 9, 2009 – The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) recently honored AAA Arizona with two Hermes Creative Awards.

The auto club was recognized with a Platinum Award in the “Media Relations” category for an editorial on Arizona’s photo enforcement program by former CEO and current vice chairman of AAA Arizona’s board of directors, Jim McDowell. The auto club received a Gold Award in the same category for “Keeping Teen Drivers Safe: AAA AZ's goal,” an article published in the Arizona Republic in June 2008.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the AMCP for the third consecutive year,” said Linda Gorman, public affairs director for AAA Arizona.
“We are especially proud to be recognized for our continued teen driver safety efforts, which remain a key component of our mission towards making the roads safer for everyone.”
