Join AAA and More Than 100 Vendors at the 3rd Annual Travel Show
Phoenix, Ariz., February 18, 2009. Whether your ideal vacation is close to home or to an exotic destination, the 3rd annual Arizona Travel Show will have it all under one roof this Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21 and 22, at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. AAA Arizona is the exclusive retail travel agency and a major sponsor of the expo.
At the event, consumers will learn about exciting travel opportunities and trends including budget vacations, cruises, tours and adventure travel. Holland America, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Disney Destinations, Trafalgar Tours, Tauck Tours and Grand Canyon Railway are just a few of vendors that will be onsite offering travel options to an estimated 6,000 attendees.
“As Arizona’s largest and most comprehensive travel show, this is a great place to start seeing what travel options are available within a consumer’s price range,” said Don Gleason, vice president of travel for AAA Arizona. “This is the year of unprecedented travel offers. Every cruise line and destination has special prices that are the lowest prices we have seen in recent years. The key to booking travel at a time when everyone is cutting back on spending is to work with a great travel agent, do your homework, and plan ahead. The show affords consumers the opportunity to do just that.”
In addition to information on local and worldwide travel and live entertainment, this year’s annual expo will also include:
- · Savings on vacations reserved during the show
·
- · Assistance by knowledgeable AAA Travel agents on travel planning
- · Instant prize drawings for travelers who book a package with AAA Travel at the show
- · Grand prize drawing of a 7-night Princess cruise to Mexico, courtesy of AAA Travel
The show is 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at the University of Phoenix Stadium, 1 Cardinals Way, Glendale.
